Who doesn’t love dinner?!! I do, and that’s why I decided to share with y’all my dinner menu for the week!

I mapped out my four nights of cooking (if we’re being honest here, who cooks on Friday, Saturday and some Sunday nights??) I like variety, and making the same things all the time can get BORING!

I’m such an amateur when it comes to anything in the kitchen. I was spoiled when living at home and still am, when I’m with my boyfriend. There was never a need to learn to cook other than the obvious necessities for college. That menu consisted of mac n’ cheese, pizza bagels, and popcorn, aka, microwavable items.

So this whole cooking thing is brand new to me. But I’ve actually really enjoyed cooking for myself the past three weeks. As I’ve been adjusting, living with my best friend, in a new town, I don’t know where anything is. I am forced to cook, since I don’t know where the best take out places are yet!

On that note, I’ve been very careful and aware of what I’ve been putting into my body. It’s amazing how different your diet can change if you don’t pay attention to the details. I am surrounded by people in my life that look at eating as a lifestyle. I believe it is indeed. The problem here is, some people eat to live, while I live to eat, so…. see my problem?? This is why I have reached out for advice in this area. Never be afraid to ask for help!

Eating healthy was never an issue, it’s more a volume thing. With that being said, most of these meals are high in fats, protein, grains and veggies. All the greatness a meal can offer! This will allow the hunger to vanish, yay 🙂

So here is this week’s dinner menu:

June 5 to June 8 (1)

I chose to keep it short and sweet. All of these meals are pretty self explanatory, and seriously, If I can figure out how to make these, I have faith that y’all can too! But really, if you have any questions, please ask!

I included all the ingredients as well as the estimated cook times and whatever I am adding to the meal, aside from the main dish!

I thought this out very thoroughly and feel that the meals all hit the focal points of my favorite things to eat, things that will keep me from not wanting dessert afterwards… as well as being balanced in nutrition. Including all the food groups in dinner is a major factor for me. I feel empty (literally) without all the key parts of a meal.

I’m not here to discuss what’s good or bad for you, nor would I ever think there would be any judgement towards me or other peoples way of eating. Although it happens, I think everyone should do what’s best for them and what works for them! That is a huge part of figuring out your lifestyle. How you eat is a big part of your daily life, it’s worth figuring out for yourself.

Diets seem to make people crazy, so I never would look at what I eat as a diet, but rather a very planned out daily intake. That’s how I like looking at it!

I hope everyone gets to try at least one of these options this week! I will be posting on my social media channels, step-by-steps, as well as the end results, so make sure to check in every night and see how it all comes out!

Hope this makes your week a little bit easier and stress-free, just like mine will be now 🙂

Comment, share, and like this post so I know you want to see more like this one!

Until next time, xoxo – Rae
